SMT Automation is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer with strong Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience for an upcoming short-term automation project.
Responsibilities
- PLC programming and troubleshooting using Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Diagnose and resolve controls and automation issues
- Perform modifications and adjustments to existing PLC programs
- Support equipment startup and troubleshooting on-site
- Work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Experience with Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000
- Industrial automation and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Previous experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, or production environments
- Ability to start Monday, September 28
- Availability for the full 1–2 week project
Preferred
- Automotive or manufacturing automation experience
- Experience with HMI troubleshooting/programming
- Experience with industrial networks and I/O troubleshooting
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
