We are seeking an Experienced Machinist to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities
- Ability to read prints i.e. CADD drawings.
- Programming CNC lathes and mills as well as editing existing programs (using G-code and/or Conversational) HAAS experience is a plus.
- Math skills are required to calculate angles and areas.
- Safe Operation of CNC equipment. HAAS experience is a plus.
- Ability to use tools such as Dial calipers, bore micrometers, radius gauges, taper gauges, depth gauges, etc.
- Machine care, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Compensation will be based on machining experience and expertise as well as plus area abilities.
- Quality assurance experience is a plus or at least an ISO mindset of processes.
- Must be safety conscious.
Requirements
- Experience as a machinist or similar field is highly preferred.
- Ability to read prints i.e. CADD drawings.
- Ability to operate manual equipment i.e. saws, drills, mills, and lathes.
- Must be OHSA 10 certified or have a willingness to get certified.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Welding capabilities are a plus.
- Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be a creative thinker and challenge solver.
- Must be able to keep the area organized and clean.
- Must be a team player.
