What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plater position at SMS group Inc?
SUMMARY
Plater needed for 3pm-11pm shift with $1.10/hr shift differential. Full-time position with weekend work and possible overtime. Fork truck and crane experience needed. Prior experience in the job field preferred.

The right candidate will
- Hazard Recognition – knows / understands hazards of the job assignments before starting a job
- Communication - effectively communicate with other employees
- Advanced Measuring – use various complex measuring devices and gages as required
- Blueprint reading - interprets drawings
- Cranes – lifts equipment safely, knows where disconnect switches are, performs daily crane inspections, loads and unloads trucks, stages equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift – drive safely, load and unload, refuel, perform daily forklift inspections
- Work from bills of material, purchasing lists, shipping documents and parts/ shop supplies
- Understands basic electroplating principles equipment and chemical hazards
