Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Tier 1 enterprise IT help desk technical support to AFCENT users.
• Troubleshoot and implement solutions to resolve incidents and problems on supported systems, network infrastructure, voice, and video, to include enterprise-level routers, switches, servers, firewalls, proxies , and caching arrays .
• Monitor systems/network performance metrics and trends to identify substandard performance and anomalies.
• Escalate complex systems/network performance, bandwidth and security issues and incidents to senior engineers/SMEs (Tier 2 and 3) for analysis and resolution.
• Perform Local Registration Authority (LRA) duties. Provide General Networking support
• Provide LAN support.
• Provide WAN Enterprise support.
• Provide technical and general O&M support as required.
• Provide documentation support as required.
• Provide meetings/briefings support as required.
• Provide functional training support as required.
• Provide CONUS TDY support as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 or more years’ relevant experience
• Firewall experience
• LAN and WAN Enterprise support experience
• Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.
• CCNA or Network
• ITIL Foundation (candidate has up to 60 days to acquire ITIL Foundation certification)
• Active Secret level clearance
