About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Landscaper to manage a crew servicing residential housing properties across Kitsap County. This is a hands-on supervisory position — you'll be out working alongside your team while also overseeing daily workflow, quality control, and communication with clients.
Responsibilities
Supervise and guide a small landscaping crew on a weekly route covering multiple sites
Manage core lawn care tasks: mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and debris cleanup, in line with company and client expectations
Handle shrub and tree pruning (under 15 ft), weed management, and garden bed upkeep
Coordinate seasonal work including fall cleanups, one spring cleanup, and one winter prep visit per property
Connect with property contacts at each location and confirm client satisfaction before the crew moves on
Conduct routine irrigation checks and report any problems needing repair
Keep tools, vehicles, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe condition
Hold the crew to a professional appearance and consistent safety standards
Keep management informed on scheduling needs, site concerns, and extra work requests
Help train new hires so they're up to speed on quality and safety expectations
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 year of experience leading a crew or working as a foreman
Confident running commercial-grade mowers, trimmers, blowers, and standard hand tools
Valid WA driver's license with a clean record; trailer towing experience is a plus
Solid communication skills, able to work directly with residents and property managers
Dependable and on-time, available Monday through Friday during daytime hours
Spanish/English bilingual ability welcomed but not required
Must pass a background check
Schedule
Monday–Friday, roughly 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Full weekly route during peak season (May–November), with a lighter schedule over winter.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
