Responsibilities
As a housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Perform guest turn down service, as needed
- Clean Public Spaces as needed
- Any additional tasks that may be assigned
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic and inviting environment
- Perform floor care procedures such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and common areas
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe workspace for yourself and colleagues
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and room status updates for management review
- Assist with deep cleaning projects or special sanitation tasks as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and custodial best practices for large-scale or high-traffic areas
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
