Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Territory Account Manager. The role is specific to Eastern DFW, East Texas and NW Louisiana. The Territory Account Manager will manage and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory by developing relationships with distributors, contractors, engineers, and end users. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, conducting product presentations and trainings, coordinating with manufacturer partners, and providing technical and application support. The role involves preparing quotes, tracking opportunities in a CRM, monitoring market trends, and executing territory sales plans. The Territory Account Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of service and follow-through.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in B2B sales, account management, and territory planning to drive revenue and market growth.
- Experience with customer relationship building, negotiation, and consultative selling in technical or industrial markets.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product features and benefits related to electrical, lighting, or infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic MS Office applications for tracking activities and analyzing territory performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to groups and delivering product trainings.
- Effective time management, organization, and self-direction in a remote work environment.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed to visit customers, job sites, and industry events.
- Prior experience in electrical distribution, construction, industrial OEM, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
