Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Manage day-to-day communication with clients regarding orders, timelines, and project updates
- Coordinate internally with production, quality, warehouse, and fulfillment teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly
- Track open orders, forecasts, and upcoming production needs
- Help clients navigate production timelines, packaging decisions, and operational questions
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of service
- Proactively follow up with internal and external partners to keep projects moving forward
Fulfillment & Order Coordination
- Assist with fulfillment onboarding calls for new clients, walking them through SMPL's fulfillment process, systems, pricing, and requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions related to fulfillment, shipping, order flow, and logistics
- Help clients understand SMPL's fulfillment capabilities, timelines, and best practices
- Respond to client questions regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and fulfillment processes in a timely manner
- Utilize ShipHero and other internal systems to manage order flow, monitor inventory, and address client needs and requests
- Coordinate internally with the fulfillment team to resolve fulfillment-related questions or issues
- Escalate fulfillment or logistics concerns to the appropriate internal teams when necessary
Internal Coordination
- Translate client needs into clear internal action items for production, fulfillment, and operations teams
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on timelines, sample requests, and order follow-ups on behalf of clients
- Ensure project details, specifications, and timelines are clearly documented
- Maintain organized records of client communications and project updates
- Support process improvements that enhance account communication and order flow
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, production, and warehouse teams
- Experience with fulfillment or warehouse management systems; familiarity with ShipHero is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
