Job Summary:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, some programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You’ll work with blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes preferably, grinders).
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure precision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or programming issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficiency with G-code, M-code, and understanding of CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Nakamura or similar).
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and material properties.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
