Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee shift management to optimize productivity.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all smoothies and food menu items meet quality standards.
- Oversee POS systems and The Blend and other operating systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming environment.
- Support budgeting efforts and assist with sales analysis to achieve business goals.
- Participate in hiring processes including interviewing potential team members.
Experience
- Previous management or Team Lead experience in food service or hospitality management is required; assistant manager experience is preferred.
- Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and supervising teams within quick service or casual dining environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Proven ability to train staff effectively while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
