Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Company OTR Driver and take the wheel of our state-of-the-art trucks to deliver essential freight across multiple regions. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with automatic transmissions across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and freight details in accordance with federal and state laws.
- Follow designated routes driving through various terrains while managing route-specific requirements for flatbed loads.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Uphold safety standards by adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during all phases of transportation.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- A clean background and driving record to ensure delivery on Military bases, etc.
- Experience driving OS/OW flatbeds is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as tarping when required and securing loads safely.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation for efficient delivery schedules.
