Medication Aide CMA

As a Medication Aide CMA, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to our residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Certified Medication Aide Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments to residents, as prescribed by physicians and under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident treatments
• Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care

Certified Medication Aide Requirements:

• CMA certification and high school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
• Ability to lift and move residents, as needed
