Role Description
Looking for a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide in-home wound care for Smoky Mountain Wound Care. Travel within an hour of the greter Jackson area. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive wound care services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care. The Nurse Practitioner will also educate patients and caregivers to promote healing and prevent complications related to wound management.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills, including wound assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Proficient in patient education, communication, and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Knowledgeable in wound care products, treatments, and technologies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate patient records
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with relevant certifications (e.g., wound care certification preferred)
- Independent decision-making skills with the ability to work remotely
- Experience in wound care or related healthcare fields is highly desirable
