Part-Time(possibly part time heavy) Vacation Rental Housekeeping Position
Smoky Mountain Stays is a small and privately owned short term rental company out of Bryson City, NC.
The ideal candidate for this position will want to work as many cleanings per week as possible. Lead housekeeper or Main Housekeeper for us is the goal.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to work, learn, and possibly grow in the short term rental industry. This person must be a reliable person to assist with part time vacation rental cleaning. Usually 3-6 hours of work per day; 3-5 days per week. Previous short term rental cleaning experience is necessary at this time. Applicant must understand vacation rental cleaning processes and be able to complete the projects according to checklist photos. This is a contracted position with a varying amount of cleanings per week depending on the season. The job has a slow season from January through March. Must have a smart phone, reliable transportation, and availability to work from 10am -4pm including Saturday or Sundays. Attention to cleaning details and the ability to work on your own is a must. The perfect candidate will need to be able to learn quickly, handle inconsistent hours, and be very reliable.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of short-term rental properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces between guest stays.
- Clean bathrooms and kitchens, restocking supplies and ensuring appliances and fixtures are spotless.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely, using appropriate PPE and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Manage laundry, linens, and room setup to meet guest expectations and hotel housekeeping standards.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with property management for timely repairs.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and inventory, and uphold high standards of customer service.
