Position Description:
This position is responsible for selling merchandise, providing customer service, and merchandising to keep showroom and showcases looking professional.
Essential Functions:
- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Develop a customer relationship in order to sell firearms and accessories to in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Complete an ATF 4473 form correctly.
- Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
- Complete TICS background check.
- Complete a point-of-sale transaction.
- Perform specific day to day duties such as minimal maintenance, cleaning your work area, and merchandising product to look professional.
- Follow instructions deemed necessary by Supervisors/Asst. Managers.
- Assist customers with any other inquiries
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.
- Availability to work nights and weekends and to follow a changing schedule to meet staffing requirements.
- Able to lift 30 pounds.
- Stand for prolonged periods of time and move around the building freely.
- Adhere to store Dress Code Policy.
- Have reliable transportation with availability to be called into work if needed.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately in employee and customer interactions.
- Must meet and/or exceed attendance policy standards.
- Must have general operating knowledge of firearms and safety.
- Ability to learn about Federal and State Laws that involve firearms and Accessories.
- On the job training provided.
