Collaborative Pianist
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Non Exempt Position; 10 month position; Full Time; 40hr/wk
SALARY: Salary Scale 04-06; Based on Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate with completion of at least two years of higher education or completion of an associate’s degree, required. Demonstrated ability to accompany intermediate to advanced choral repertoire in multiple genres, ability to sight-read choral and musical theatre repertoire.
DUTIES: Provide piano accompaniment for the Choral & Musical Theatre classes, productions, and concerts: Attend rehearsals and performances which may include evenings or weekends as needed; (Department Stipend available for Production Week and fall and spring musical production performances). Assist the music teacher with the instructional program (to include music theory, history, and aural skills) generating rehearsal resources, and providing student mentorship. Additional duties that may be assigned by the superintendent, principal or principal’s designee.
