What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate:
- Has strong knowledge of disposable vapes, vape devices, brands, and current products
- Enjoys talking with customers and helping them find the right product
- Has at least 1 year of customer service experience
- Has at least 1 year of cashier experience
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Works well as part of a team
- Can communicate confidently and professionally with customers
- Is willing to learn about new products
- Has knowledge of other tobacco products (a plus, but not required)
- Has flexible availability, including nights and weekends
What You'll Do
This is more than just a cashier position. You'll:
- Help customers understand and choose vape and tobacco products
- Operate the register accurately and efficiently
- Learn new products, brands, and promotions
- Stock and rotate tobacco products, vape products, and cooler merchandise
- Communicate promotions and new product information to customers
- Help come up with ideas to increase sales and improve the customer experience
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and ready for customers
- Clean the restroom, sweep the parking lot, empty garbage, and handle recycling
- Work together with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, have flexible availability, including nights and weekends, and successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check.
