Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting vehicles that match their preferences and budget
- Provide detailed explanations of vehicle features, warranties, and financing options to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Upsell additional products and services such as auto service packages, maintenance plans, and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to recommend appropriate repairs or upgrades
- Manage auto estimating and service writing processes accurately using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
- Support auto service management by coordinating repairs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely completion of work
- Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership inventory, promotions, and current automotive repair techniques including oil changes, brake repair, tire service, transmissions, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and collision repair
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive sales or dealership environments preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is highly advantageous for understanding vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
- Familiarity with auto service management systems and auto estimating software is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently
- Experience in auto body repair or collision repair can enhance your ability to assist customers with complex vehicle issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support test drives and vehicle deliveries
- Proven ability to upsell products and services while maintaining excellent customer relationships
