Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, upselling items when appropriate.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to attract customer attention.
- Assist with stocking and inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and practicing good phone etiquette.
- Support sales goals through effective upselling strategies and promoting ongoing promotions or new products.
- Engage customers in product demos and educate them about store offerings to enhance their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and supervise new staff when needed to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in smoke/vape stores or similar environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus).
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous.
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and product demos is beneficial.
