Duties

• Assist customers in selecting vaping devices, e-liquids, cigars, and accessories by providing detailed product demonstrations and recommendations
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy using POS systems and managing cash drawer operations
• Maintain organized stock levels through regular stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and visual appeal
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about new vaping products and cigar varieties, enhancing their shopping experience
• Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant accessories or premium items
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette and communication skills
• Supervise store operations as needed, including supervising staff or assisting in training new team members on sales techniques and product knowledge

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, retail sales transactions, and cash handling procedures
• Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead by example and support team members in achieving sales goals
• Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to connect with diverse customers
• Knowledge of retail store product categories such as vaping devices, e-liquids, cigars, smoking accessories, and related merchandise
• Skilled in conducting product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising strategies, and customer engagement
• Familiarity with grocery store or retail environments that require stock management, inventory control, and basic math for retail math calculations
• Exceptional phone etiquette along with customer service skills to create positive interactions that foster loyalty
