What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Smoker Friendly Express Mart (Liquor)?
Smoker Friendly Express Mart, in Owingsville KY, is seeking a cashier. The desired applicant would have good customer service skills, cash register and lottery experience, possess the ability to multi-task and be on your feet working in a fast paced environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, bend and kneel. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
- Rings customer sales using an electronic cash register. Receives money, gives correct change.
- Check identification for restricted sales.
- Cleans all areas, using proper cleaning procedures and materials, including (but not limited to) counter tops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, food service equipment, restrooms, and parking lots.
- Cleans and empties trash containers.
- Stock shelves and cooler, rotates and front faces stock.
