Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to assist customers effectively
- Handle stocking duties as needed, ensuring shelves are organized and products are readily available for sale
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person
- Support team members with supervising experience by helping maintain a smooth checkout process during busy periods
- Maintaining cleanliness in the store
- Keeping up with product lab reports
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred, especially with cashiering responsibilities
- Your own transportation or a constant, reliable ride
- OPEN availability. 9am-9pm Mon-Sat and 11am-8pm on Sundays
- Must be reliable and on time for shifts
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is essential
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently
- Excellent communication skills and friendly phone etiquette to engage customers professionally
- Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately for pricing, discounts, and totals
- Previous experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not required
