Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Manage cash drawer handling, including cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and reconciling daily sales.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized.
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels.
- Support store operations through tasks such as inventory management, stocking, and ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date for effective sales assistance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems or cash register operations is preferred.
- Supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and transactions.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles to assist customers confidently.

- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with customers and team members alike.
