Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their preferences and needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features of various vaping devices, accessories, and smoking products
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and confidence
- Maintain an organized sales floor through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders over the phone
- Manage cash handling duties including cash drawer balancing and processing payments accurately
Requirements
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a smoke shop or grocery store environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers clearly about products
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly and accurately
