Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as square POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with safety and quality standards, including basic food preparation tasks.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining spaces, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or café environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively.
- Experience in retail math or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.
