Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products suited to their preferences and needs
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout, including product displays and stock levels
- Educate customers on product features, usage, and safety guidelines to enhance their shopping experience
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash, credit, or debit payments
- Restock shelves regularly to ensure product availability and freshness, including accessories, tobacco, and other merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels, identify low-stock items, and communicate with management for reordering needs
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and store policies regarding age restrictions and product handling
Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Knowledge of smoking accessories, tobacco products, or related items is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
