Duties
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products or services.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
- Handle cash drawer management, ensuring precise cash handling and balancing at shift end.
- Perform data entry tasks related to sales records, customer information, and financial transactions using retail software systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment and ensure all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Prior retail store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers.
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently, including 10 key typing tasks.
- Experience in banking or financial services is advantageous for understanding retail lending processes.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
