- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
Requirements
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in a bilingual capacity is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math for calculating discounts or totals
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
