Smoke Chemistry Social is seeking an experienced, motivated Bar Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced, upscale lounge environment. This role is ideal for a leader who understands hospitality, can command a room, and knows how to run a tight, professional bar operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead bar team, servers, and support staff
- Create and maintain staff schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and workflow behind the bar
- Enforce dress code, professionalism, and guest experience standards
- Assist in bar menu organization and seasonal updates
- Maintain team morale, accountability, and performance standards
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years bar, restaurant, or lounge management experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience with scheduling, ordering, and inventory controls
- Ability to work nights and weekends consistently
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
- Must be dependable, organized, and solution-oriented
