Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily service and special events
- Monitor food quality during production, ensuring consistency and adherence to dietary guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet high-volume production demands while maintaining excellent service standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling or dietary aide roles preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Skilled in cooking methods such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other culinary techniques
