Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location: Rochester, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night-shift assignment. This role requires strong critical-care skills, rapid assessment ability, and experience in high-acuity ED environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for ED patients across all acuity levels.
- Rapid triage, stabilization, and continuous monitoring of critical patients.
- Use the nursing process (assessment → planning → implementation → evaluation).
- Effectively communicate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to ED protocols.
- No call required; must work every other weekend.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Cerner EMR experience – Required
- Strong competency in rapid assessment & emergency interventions
- Must be available for one holiday (Day or Eve) during the assignment
- Up to 1 week RTO allowed (must be submitted upfront)
Required Certifications
- Active Michigan RN License
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PALS – Preferred
- TNCC – Preferred
Pay: $2,150.00 - $2,305.00 per week
