Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health
Unit: Middleton Road – Detoxification
Location: 111 Middleton Road, Danvers, MA 01923
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at their Detoxification Program in Danvers, MA. This program provides 24-hour nursing care to support patients undergoing withdrawal from alcohol and/or drugs. The RN will play a crucial role in patient stabilization, safety monitoring, and providing emotional and medical support during this critical phase of recovery.
Local and travel RNs are both welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms and provide 24-hour nursing support.
- Record and report symptoms, reactions to treatments, and changes in patient safety status.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and contribute to treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Assist with patient activities of daily living to promote a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Support the admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (current and valid).
- Current CPR certification required.
- Experience in addiction treatment preferred, but not required.
- Must be separated from the BILH system for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or travel).
- Travel RN experience not required.
Pay: $2,350.00 - $2,450.00 per week
