Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Dedham, MA 02026
Status: Contract | 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support its Dedham practice. The CMA will work alongside providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient primary care setting. Candidates must be experienced, professional, and comfortable with direct patient interaction and clinical support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake duties including vital signs, medical history, rooming, and preparing patients for exams.
- Assist providers during visits and procedures as needed.
- Complete EMR documentation accurately and efficiently using Epic.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient messages, and support front-desk operations when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- National Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.).
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Must live within 20 miles of the Dedham location.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
