Mover

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Mover to join our small crew. Our goal on every job is ensuring our customers’ belongings are transported safely and efficiently, without damage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be active, work with a variety of equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service every day.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items with care using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and sprinter vans
• Assist customers with moving belongings into or out of trucks, homes, or offices while not causing any damage
• Follow established safety protocols during all phases of loading, unloading, and transportation to prevent injuries
• Collaborate with team members while carrying furniture and heavy items to prevent drops or mis-steps, and learn how to properly load a truck

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, or moving services with a focus on heavy lifting and manual handling is a plus
• Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or cars with manual transmission is not required but is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic tools including lift gates, pallet jacks, and other loading tools
• Ability to load & unload efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
• Knowledge of route driving best practices for timely deliveries across different locations
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and working in various environments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
