What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lobby Concierge position at SMM Facilities?
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-service-focused individual to join our team as a Concierge. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors, ensuring professionalism and care in all interactions.
- Greets prospects and residents as they enter the office/leasing area, providing a warm welcome and excellent customer service while they wait to speak with a team member.
- Answers phone calls, routes calls to the appropriate team member for assistance, and assists with completed service request call-backs as necessary. Communicates with Management regarding protocols.
- Maintains the guest suite schedule to ensure proper payment and cleanliness upon guest arrival.
- Manages and coordinates the loading dock and/or elevator schedule for move-ins and move-outs.
- Monitors cameras and handles lockouts.
- Ensures clubhouse amenities are well-stocked before the leasing office opening each morning.
- Manages all package deliveries by documenting arrival information and notifying residents within 24 hours, including immediate notifications for food deliveries.
- Maintains tracking logs for equipment rentals, dry cleaning services, and/or other services provided by the community.
- Assists the community team with scheduling, planning, and organizing resident activities and programs.
- Keeps detailed information on local restaurants, shops, delivery services, and other pertinent details that may be of interest to residents. Maintains relationships and contacts with concierge vendors.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, heat, hail, and wind).
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of related experience (Customer Service, Hotel, Multi-Family residential)
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- PC Proficient
- Excellent Communication, Customer Service, and problem-solving skills
