Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations while actively working alongside the team. This role combines supervision with hands-on responsibilities, ensuring accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products. The Supervisor is responsible for staff training, operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with company and safety standards. Proficiency in NetSuite system is required to manage inventory, orders, and reporting.
General Accountabilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials.
- Actively participate in daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel to maintain high performance standards.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Review work orders, invoices, and demand forecasts to plan workloads and issue assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory through NetSuite system, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Inspect warehouse conditions, equipment, and vehicles; arrange for maintenance, repairs, or replacements when needed.
- Schedule and oversee pickup, delivery, and distribution activities.
- Resolve customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage or distribution services.
- Enforce standard operating procedures and support emergency response protocols.
- Assist in developing plans for equipment purchases, workflow improvements, or space optimization.
- Track and trace goods en route, expediting shipments when necessary.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in a warehouse, logistics, or supervisory role.
