Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Payroll professional to join our team as a Payroll Service Delivery Analyst. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will partner with managers and team members to achieve organizational objectives while delivering payroll solutions in a proactive manner. The ability to build relationships, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate across multiple time zones in a global environment is essential.
Under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager, the Payroll Service Delivery Analyst will ensure accurate payroll processing, provide timely and accurate financial information, perform daily payroll operations, maintain payroll data, document procedures, and support continuous process improvement.
This role requires an experienced payroll professional who can manage payroll and benefits processes in both U.S. dollars and foreign currencies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with payroll systems, and able to maintain confidentiality while processing payroll for employees with various employment classifications.
The Payroll Service Delivery Analyst is responsible for balancing payroll, documenting payroll transactions, processing employee earnings, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions, maintaining payroll records, generating payroll reports, and responding to employee payroll inquiries.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees.
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.
Process payroll transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
Provide exceptional customer service regarding payroll, compensation, taxes, timekeeping, and leave requests.
Support payroll process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Educate employees on payroll policies, procedures, and timekeeping practices.
Perform daily payroll operations and maintain payroll-related data.
Process new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Analyze and audit payroll data, including intercompany transactions.
Prepare payroll and benefits journal entries.
Process time and attendance data and interface with payroll applications.
Generate standard and ad hoc payroll reports.
Process garnishments and employment verification requests.
Prepare and process payroll tax forms and year-end reporting.
Support additional payroll and financial reporting activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
3 5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
Strong understanding of payroll practices, accounting fundamentals, and payroll systems.
Knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll regulations.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to manage high-volume workloads while meeting strict deadlines.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Self-motivated team player with strong analytical skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & Attendance.
Experience with ADP iHCM.
Knowledge of UK payroll, employment, and tax regulations.
Experience supporting global payroll operations.
Knowledge of Human Resources functions, including Recruiting, Benefits, and Employee Relations.
