Position Overview
Lawn & Pest Solutions Specialist are responsible for providing solutions to our clients regarding their lawn and landscape needs. Solutions are made through identifying and diagnosis of conditions present on their properties. The Lawn and Pest Solutions Specialist will perform, recommend and advise clients of available company services to improve, maintain, and protect their lawn and landscape.
Essential Responsibilities
· Identify weeds, insects, diseases or other conditions present on client properties
· Mixing and batching of chemicals & fertilizers
· Perform fertilizer & chemical applications
· Record time and material used to complete services
· Clean, maintain, and calibrate lawn and pest equipment
· Recommend and advise clients of additional company services
Job Requirements
· Minimum 18 years of age
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
· Valid Iowa Driver’s License
· Iowa Commercial Applicators License – Core, Category 3OT & 7
· Successful completion of online landscape training videos, exams, and checklist
· Willingness to learn the basics of turf grass pest management
· Excellent communication skills

· Regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
· Continuous walking in various types of terrain and conditions
· Work under different types of weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
