Nice place to work. We are looking for a FULL TIME Dental Assistant to bring a comforting smile and caring touch to our patients during their treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctors and patients chairside during treatment.
- Assist other dental assistants and Hygienists as a floater assistant.
- Turnover and prepare treatment rooms. Seating patients and assessing needs, communicating to the doctors as needed.
- Process and sterilize instruments.
- Take digital x-rays (Air Techniques Scan-X PSP system).
- Take impressions and pour models.
- Scan for digital impressions (3Shape Trios Scanner).
- Ordering of supplies, management of lab cases and equipment maintenance.
- Side work duties include; organizing, maintaining and cleaning supply storage and equipment. Scanning / shredding documents / charts.

Requirements:
- Must be good at multi-tasking and able to figure out what and how to do what needs to get done without a lot of direction.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and love of learning areinvaluable.
- Previous experience and knowledge of four handed dentistry.
- A working knowledge of Dentrix software.
- Hours needed: Monday 8:45am – 7pm, Tuesday 8:30am – 6pm, Wednesday 9am – 4pm, Thursday 8:30am-6pm. 1-2 Saturdays per month ( No Saturdays on June, July & August ) flexibility to cover other assistants hours when they’re on vacation helpful
