Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to support our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care. Our Physical Therapy and Chiropractic office in Smithtown, is seeking an individual who will be working under the supervision of our Physical Therapist. We strive to provide a personalized and holistic approach to treating pain and restoring function. The Aide position will include processing patient's intake information, patient care, entering patient visit information into computer, keeping work area clean and sanitized and basic office duties. Candidate must be enthusiastic to work with patients and comfortable with computers. We are looking for the following hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday- 8:45am to 5:00pm. Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring proper positioning for therapy sessions.
- Support patient intake procedures by collecting relevant health information and documenting patient responses accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
- Monitor and restock supplies to ensure all necessary materials are available for therapy sessions.
- Provide compassionate patient service by addressing questions and offering encouragement throughout treatment.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to acute, inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care environments to promote a safe treatment setting.
