Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a part-time (19 3/4 hours per week) Certified Medical Assistant to join their team at Saylesville Elementary School. Responsibilities and Duties: 1.Accurately maintains, updates and transcribes health related information into the students' electronic/permanent record 2.Assists the nurse with health screenings 3.Assists the nurse with medical health visits under the CMA's scope of practice 4.Assists with daily living skills/hygiene needs as needed 5.Keeps health room organized 6.Answers telephones, takes messages, and/or transfers calls 7.Maintains patient information confidentiality 8.Covers the health room under the CMA's scope of practice should the nurse have to attend to an emergency, meetings, and/or conferences in the building 9.Performs other related duties as specified by the Nurse and/or Building Administrator This is a school year position.
