Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and transport products within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move products to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking product movements using schematics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Assist in fabricating or assembling components as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including air brake checks and proper handling of materials.
- Support service technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with OEM specifications and the ability to read schematics is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate cranes or similar heavy machinery is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications related to forklift operation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills, including how to dig or transmit information related to equipment operations.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
