Smithfield Dental Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our established, patient-focused team. For over 25 years, our practice has proudly served the Smithfield community with high-quality general, pediatric, and orthodontic care. As our patient base continues to grow, we’re excited to add a dedicated pediatric specialist to help us elevate the level of care we offer to children and families.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, teens, and patients with special needs. Perform exams, cleanings, behavior guidance, restorative care, pulp therapy, extractions, space maintenance, and other pediatric procedures
- Educate children and parents on oral health, prevention, and home care
- Collaborate with our general dentists and orthodontist for coordinated, whole-family care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Create a warm, comfortable, and positive experience for every child
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry
- Current Utah dental license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
- Strong interest in long-term community care and relationship building
