As our Night Shift Production Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our team operates safely, efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality. You'll lead and develop employees, coordinate production activities, solve problems, and help drive continuous improvement while creating a positive, accountable work environment.

About the Role:

As the Evening Shift Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction to the evening shift, ensuring the production of the industry's highest-quality side dump trailers. Working Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., you'll oversee daily production activities, promote a safe and efficient work environment, and ensure quality and productivity goals are achieved. We're looking for a motivated, dependable leader with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, committed to continuous improvement, and passionate about coaching and developing employees while driving operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily direction to team members and collaborates with other departments to establish priorities and ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure all processes and safety protocols are followed consistently.
• Evaluate team performance; provide feedback, coaching, recognition, and corrective action as needed.
• Address employee concerns and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
• Orient new team members to department procedures and expectations. Assist with training new employees, including planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Inspect work to verify quality standards in blasting, prepping, painting, and welding.
• Work alongside team members to blast, prep, paint, and weld in order to complete jobs and provide hands-on training.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other equipment to move materials and equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lead the team in a positive and productive manner.
• Ensure schedules and production expectations are met.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s Degree (AA or AS) from a two-year college or technical school, OR six months to one year of related experience and/or training, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including ERP and email.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, documents, weld symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs).
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
