Smith & Wilkinson has been retained by Cape & Coast Bank to identify its next Senior Vice President, Credit Officer. Reporting to the Chief Operating & Risk Officer, this individual will serve as the Bank’s senior credit leader, lead and develop a team of Credit Analysts, and contribute actively as a member of the senior leadership team.
Cape & Coast is a $1.7 billion mutual community bank that has served Cape Cod and surrounding communities for more than 100 years. The Bank has nearly doubled in assets over the past decade while investing in its people, technology, infrastructure and local communities, positioning it well for continued growth and long-term independence.
The SVP, Credit Officer will provide strategic oversight of the Bank’s credit culture, enterprise credit risk framework and commercial credit administration function, with broader responsibility for credit quality across the commercial, residential and consumer portfolios. Working closely with their team of analysts and commercial leaders, this individual will evaluate risk, guide the structuring of complex transactions and support sound, consistent credit decisions that balance prudent risk management with the Bank’s growth, customer and community objectives.
