Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our company.
The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, clean driving record, and strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicle to transport goods to assigned destinations (short and long distances)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection to identify mechanical and safety issues
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and inspection reports
- Drive vehicles of varying capacities ranging, from light to heavy duty trucks
- Operate trucks pulling different trailer configurations (flatbeds, tankers, and dump trailer)
- Follow safety regulations and traffic laws
Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Clean driving record with current medical card
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers and different types of freight
- Capability to load and unload cargo safely
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
