Parts Associate – Full-Time
Smith Volkswagen is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, and customer-focused Parts Associate to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys the automotive industry, thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional service.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Every Other Saturday
- Full-Time Position
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic automotive knowledge and an understanding of common vehicle parts and systems
- Volkswagen, Audi, or other German-brand experience is a major plus
- Previous dealership or automotive parts experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to quickly answer questions and help customers and technicians identify the correct parts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and work toward a positive resolution
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Responsibilities
As a Parts Associate, you will:
- Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale customers, and retail customers with parts needs
- Identify, locate, and order automotive parts
- Answer questions regarding parts availability, pricing, and applications
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Process parts orders and maintain accurate records
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and organization of the Parts Department
- Work closely with the Service Department to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Compensation
Pay is based on experience and automotive knowledge. Compensation will vary depending on previous employment, dealership experience, German-brand knowledge, and overall qualifications.
