What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Specialist position at Smith Veterinary Hospital?
Animal Care Specialist
Hours: 20-40 hours/week (with opportunities for advancement)
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:30 - 9:00 am
Monday & Tuesday 2:00 - 6:00 pm
Saturday 7:30 - 12:30 pm
Two Weekends of Kennel Work Per Month (~3 hours per weekend)
We are looking to add another enthusiastic, hard working person to our team. We are searching for someone that is detail oriented, organized, self motivated, loves animals.
Duties would include all aspects of animal care, patient restraint, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, janitorial tasks.
Basic Computer/Communication Skills and Animal Experience are Required
