Position Overview:

Delivery drivers are responsible for safely operating STI vehicles while delivering products and equipment to customers. They are fueled by dedication and play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision

· Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site

· Load and unload products and equipment for delivery

· Assist with warehouse duties- pulling orders, stocking inventory, maintaining the yard

· Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI

· Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

· Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management

· Work with outside sales and internal team to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2 years of non-commercial driving experience

· Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions

· An aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experience

· Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards- background, MVR, drug testing for insurance standards

· Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 75 pounds
