Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Design and optimize database structures with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to support efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Conduct business analysis by understanding client needs, translating requirements into technical specifications, and supporting decision-making processes.
- Automate data workflows using VBA, Bash (Unix shell scripting), Talend, and other scripting tools to streamline operations.
- Support the integration of linked data sources and develop innovative solutions for complex analytics challenges.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong foundation in data analysis skills and analytics tools.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL programming for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Familiarity with visualization platforms including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating compelling dashboards.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices for delivering high-quality analytics projects on time.
- Experience working with ETL tools like Talend or custom scripting (Python, Bash) for data pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and linked data concepts to enhance data integration efforts.
